Implementation Project Manager - An Implementation Project Manager (IPM) is responsible for driving successful integration of MIE solutions int various client locations, beginning with supporting the sale of those solutions. The IPM will support field sales representatives, offering technical demonstrations of MIE solutions in-person and via Web-based tools. The IPM will offer the consultative expertise of a project manager and serve as the implementer of MIE solutions during the sales cycle. The IPM will also act as lead implementer to deliver MIE solutions to named clients. The IPM role is a mid-level position requiring a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. This position requires 4+ years healthcare software implementation experience, with the ideal candidate being technology-oriented. Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of the physician office, with several years of experience working directly in a clinical setting. Software demo skills, strong interpersonal skills, and communications skills are required. We seek to fill positions in select cities throughout the U.S., and at MIE’s corporate headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Essential functions include: - Differentiate MIE solutions by demonstrating their use in a clinical setting
- Primary responsibility is to actively manage implementations, to stay current on all functionality of the MIE suite of solutions, and to stay focused on client-driven solutions.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and delegating the implementation of applications and interfaces.
- Evaluate the best way clients would benefit from their solution, and produce the most effective training material.
- Conduct post-implementation follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
- Serve as the implementation expert, directly assisting clients on "tough" support issues.
- Help extend client confidence and satisfaction by acting as a liaison between clients and internal business units.
Skills and Qualifications: - A history of consultative sales, using needs assessment skills to align MIE solutions with client needs
- Oral presentation and training skills, and public speaking experience.
- Well educated with a relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of four years experience in a similar role.
- A seasoned professional with a strong background in the software industry, preferably in medical software.
- Extensive implementation skills, to include pre-sales support and creation of scope; pre-implementation budgeting and timeline planning; project management with respect to adherence to milestones, timelines, and budgets; and post-implementation needs assessment for customization and enhancement of solutions.
- Computer literate with experience in using MS Office, Internet, e-mail, and browser-based applications.
- A proven track record of delivering implementations on-time and on-budget.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of real world C/C++, HTML, and JavaScript programming experience. Experience in DICOM and/or HL7 is a plus.
