Our coaching staff is made up of accomplished players and highly qualified and caring high school coaches. We provide individualized teaching techniques that enhance players strengths and improve upon their weaknesses. We believe that all players, no matter their age or skill level, can become stars through our "old school it's new school" way of coaching.
2Way is Our Way
We believe in the "old school" way of lacrosse, when there was no specialization. We believe every lacrosse player should master the game "2 ways", playing offense and defense. If you are an attackman, we not only want you to be able to score but also understand key defensive techniques so that you are able to become a more complete player. Understanding defensive skills will allow attackman to ride successfully and better understand the game of lacrosse. For defensemen, those who are most successful at helping their team win are players who have the ability to handle the ball in the open field and carry or pass into the offensive zone. A team that has a tough, aggressively riding attack, and a defense that can clear is poised for victory.
We measure success through 3 important goals
We emphasize respect for the game and playing lacrosse the way it was meant to be played. Every day, we measure our success by asking three questions based on goals of Competition, Commitment, and Character.
- Did we play to win today? (Competition, they are keeping score after all)
- Did we get better today? (Commitment, otherwise we are wasting our time)
- Did we put the team first? (Character, with emphasis on "WE")
It is a formula that 2Way Lacrosse uses to make players better every time they step on the field.
